Ultraspeed is the solution found to resolve problems with the hypersonic engines. The development of the reactor for the hydrogen synthesis wasn't hard because it has been in everyday use for a long time. But photon engines were a different thing. After lots of experiments with different types of metals with different shapes, engineers found crystal (combined with metal and gas to weld) to be resistant to high temperatures and at the same time capable of concentrating the light rays into the right direction. After being shaped like pyramids, crystals are ordered in to a huge hemisphere. After that they are placed in the back of the ship, where with the help of motor the direction of the crystals can be changed. The ignition of the photon engines was possible a couple of thousand kilometers from the planet's surface. If they aren't activated at the necessary distance, they could have a bad effect on the planets habitants (serious eye injuries). Ultraspeed makes the heaviest and modern ships usable, and every cosmic empire needs it to hit hard the enemy with optimal speed and power.
With every upper level the ships' speed is increased with 20% from base.
