Population

Population is a unit representing how much space each ship and defense unit occupies in Hangars/Vault/Nesting grounds which are used to park and maintain ships and defense units. Each type of ship and defense unit requires a certain amount of Population, some require more than others. The maximum Population on a regular (non-Team) Planet is 25,112.

At each Planet the Hangars are shared between ships and defense. If your Planet has 100 total Population, this means that the Hangars can hold ships for 100 Population and defense units for 100 Population. Usually in the Planet screens on the top-right there is an indicator displaying the occupied and the total Population, which is for ships. To see the amount of Population for the defense units, go to the defense menu at the Shipyard.

Planet Locking for Population

If there isn’t enough Population available the planet overpopulate and it cannot be accessed until the extra units are deleted.

Ozone

Ozone has two functions, if the amount of Ozone on a Planet is reduced it increases the production of Energy on that Planet, but if its amount reaches levels which are critically low, the entire Planet is locked.

  • Each Planet has 15 000 starting Ozone points that are reduced every day. Each level of each building reduces the Ozone by 10 points daily.

Note that Ozone doesn't affect a Team planet in any way.

Energy Production Bonus

The lack of Ozone gives a bonus to Energy production, because with less Ozone, more sunlight reaches the Planet.

Note that this bonus doesn't apply to energy produced from Nuclear plant/Uranium bot/Uranium absorber.

Planet Locking for Ozone

Lower levels of Ozone increase the amount of Energy produced, but if the Ozone drops beneath 100 the Planet is unusable until the problem is resolved.
