Ship characteristics
Each ship has certain Characteristics, they determine how powerful, resilient, fast, Etc. a ship is as compared to another one. Here is a list, with brief explanations, of all ship Characteristics:
- Attack – this is the amount of damage the ship deals (note that this is a base value and doesn’t represent bonuses from upgrades, sciences, etc.);
- Life – this is the amount of damage that the ship can withstand before being destroyed (note that this is a base value and doesn’t represent bonuses from upgrades, sciences, etc.);
- Weapon type – this is the type of weapon the ship uses, the three types are: Laser, Ion and Plasma. Different weapons act differently on different armor types;
- Armor type – this is the type of armor the ship uses, the four types are: Light, Normal, Heavy and Solid. Different weapons act differently on different armor types;
- Armor power – this number shows what percentage of the damage received will be deflected by the armor (Note that this is a base value and doesn’t represent any bonuses or reductions);
- Upgrade per level – this percentage shows by how much the attack and life of a ship are increased with every level of upgrade;
- Population –this shows how much space, in the Hangars/ Vault/ Nesting grounds, each ship requires in order to be built. See (Population);
- Cargo – the maximum amount of resources that can be loaded onto the ship. Cargo ships get their Cargo capacity improved, instead of attack and life, for every level of upgrade;
- Speed – this value shows how quickly the ship can move when on a Flight. The higher the value, the faster the ship. Some sciences make ships faster;
- Fuel consumption – the amount of Gas the ship needs to reach its target when on a Flight. Some sciences reduce fuel consumption;
- Metal cost – the amount of Metal needed to construct one unit of this type of ship;
- Minerals cost – the amount of Minerals needed to construct one unit of this type of ship;
- Gas cost – the amount of Gas needed to construct one unit of this type of ship.
