Laboratory
The Laboratory is a high-tech facility, where the Confederation’s best minds work around the clock to come up with new weapons, materials and technologies that will help the empire in its strive for galactic domination. Scientist work on top secret projects that open new possibilities for the player. Some buildings, ships and defense units can only be built after a certain science has been researched.
Each Planet can have 1 laboratory. With every higher level of the laboratory, the equipment is improved and the staff is additionally trained, this results in a shortened time for researching sciences.
