Ships - what are their different weapons?
Each ship has a weapon from one of the following types- laser, ion and plasma.. The attack of each ship is calculated using the following scheme - the percentage from the upgrade in the Factory is added to the ship's base attack and to the result number is also added the bonus from ""Weaponry systems" (5% for each level) along with "Laser Systems", "Ion Technologies" or "Plasma Systems", depending on the type of the ship's weapon (again each level gives 5%).Example:If you have one Scout ship with one level upgrade in the Factory and you have level 5 "Weaponry systems", level 4 "Laser Systems" and level 6 "Plasma Systems", this is what happens: 1 Scount has 350 strength 5% added from the level 1 of Factory upgrade = 368. We also add 45% total (25% from level 5 "Weaponry systems", 5% per level and 20% for the level 4 "Laser Systems" 5% per level and 0% from level 6 of "Plasma Systems", because the Scout doesn't use Plasma weapon) = 534 (rounded). To sum things up, all those calculations equal 534 attack for each one of your Scout ships.
Armors - types and descriptions
The armor types in the game are now 4 - Light, Normal, Heavy and Solid. Every level of "Ship Armor" will increase ship's structure (the life of the ship) with 5% per level. The armor percentages will increase depending on the level of researches "Shields". All ships will gain 3% bonus from each level.
Each type of weapon in the game has different strength against the types of armor (some armors don't work at 100% when being hit with certain weapon). What does this all mean?
If we have to simulate a battle using 10 Scouts against 2 Destroyers, here's what's important.10 Scouts have a total attack of 3500. The Destroyers have 250 000 structure and 18% Heavy armor. Then we should know that the Laser has 10% reduction from the Heavy armor (the Scouts have Laser weapons, and the Destroyer uses Heavy Armor). This means that we reduce 10% from 630 - the ammount we reduced from the Scouts attack so far. And finally 630 - 63 = 567. The final strength of our Scouts will be 3500 - 567 (armor reduction) = 2933.
One final simulation.
300 Guardians against 120 Battlecruisers. 300 Guardians have a total attack of 750 000. The Battlecruisers have 15% Normal armor. We first calculate 15% out of 750 000 = 112 500. Now comes the reduction from the Ion weapon (the one that the Guardian uses) to the Normal armor (the one that the Battlecruiser uses) which is 35%. So we take 35% reduction out of 112 500 and we get 73 125.112 500 - 39 375= 73 125So, finally, the attack of our Guardiangs will be reduced by 73 125 and for 300 Guardians it will be 676 875.
